The PTFE seat butterfly valve is designed to meet the needs of corrosive environments with strong acid and strong alkali, petroleum, chemical industry, food and many other special fields. The valve body made of PTFE has a strong anti-corrosion effect. It can replace the stainless steel valve body under normal conditions, and has a higher cost performance. The butterfly plate of the butterfly valve is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. In the cylindrical channel of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis, and the rotation angle is between 0° and 90°. When the rotation reaches 90°, the valve is fully open.

 

The PTFE butterfly valve can be equipped with AKR electric and BY pneumatic actuators, and the operation can be controlled by inputting control signals (4~20mADC or 1~5VDC) and single-phase power supply, which can realize intelligent (adjustable) and switch type. It has strong functions, small size, light weight, reliable performance, simple matching, and large flow capacity, especially suitable for occasions where the medium is viscous, contains particles, and is fibrous.

 

At present, as a component used to realize on-off and flow control of pipeline systems, PTFE butterfly valves have been widely used in many fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, and hydropower. In the known butterfly valve technology, its sealing form mostly adopts a sealing structure, and the sealing material is rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. Due to the limitations of structural features, it is not suitable for industries such as high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance.
