The thickness of molybdenum foil we provide ranges from 0.025mm~0.2mm. In general, products less than 0.2mm thick are called molybdenum foil, and 0.2mm~2mm thick are called molybdenum sheets.

As with our other molybdenum products, molybdenum foil also begins as metal molybdenum powder, is pressed into ingots, sintered, rolled, annealed, then processed to a custom size.
Our advanced production processes ensure that molybdenum foil meets the customer's surface, density, flatness, roughness and other performance requirements to achieve the best performance in applications.
After cross rolling and vacuum heat treatment, molybdenum foil has stable performance and better machining performance. It is suitable for further processing such as drawing, stamping and bending.

Uses Of Molybdenum Foil
Molybdenum foils are cross-rolled in the production process, and the stress is removed by vacuum annealing, and it has the advantages of high strength, high temperature resistance, uniform internal structure, good processing performance and high temperature creep resistance. Therefore, molybdenum foil is usually used for electronic and semiconductor components, chemically etched parts, drawn parts and high temperature structural parts.
It is also used for producing heat shielding, molybdenum boats, heating elements and carriers in vacuum furnaces.
